Artist in residence
What it's all about
Our Artist In Residence program is part of our DNA. Hosting artists in our space, we collaborate to create original works. The result? Get inspired. Inspire. Repeat.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.1
McKnight Visual Arts Fellow and renowned textile artist who works in metal and mixed media, combining the arts of crocheting and blacksmithing.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.2
Local musician and composer whose creativity is fueled by incessant curiosity, experimentation and exploration of how art can be experienced by all five senses.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.3
An Irish cook, farmer and author whose deep love of Irish culinary culture inspires pairings of unexpected flavors with centuries-old techniques.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.4
We all came together to create an amazing community art piece. Everyone was our 4th Artist in Residence.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.5
THREAD loves to be inspired by art. We partnered with glass artist, Michael Boyd to create an illuminated blown glass installation. Or as he calls it, a drip light. See magic happen, finish to start.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE NO.6
Sitting by the lake, we all connected, sharing personal stories with this amazing singer, songwriter and storyteller. And from that, he wrote our song. And this is our story.
